The 400 series thermal imager combines all the features of a high end real time laboratory grade radiometer with a robust aluminum housing to create an industrial grade infrared camera suitable for virtually any thermography application. The 400 system can be outfitted to fulfill the requirements of your next project. From oil fields, offshore rigs, and underground mines to electrical predictive maintenance, medical imaging, and PCB research and analysis, the system can adapt to any application.

Back Panel of the SPI 400 series package ir system

The 400 series provides you with the following features:

Aperture & Filter Wheel - Aperture settings allow for viewing of high temp targets with ease. Select units include custom machined filters that are selectable from the back panel.
Radiometric Playback - This feature allows you to playback data and images through the eyepiece of the unit.
Floppy Disk Storage - A unique feature that allows you to store your images onto standard 3.5" Floppy Disks. This is by far the least expensive and easiest way to store images and transfer them to a computer for later analysis and reporting.
COLOR Video Output - The unit features professional grade BNC video connections (with RCA adapter) to provide you with exceptional color images on virtually any monitor or on the included SPI LCD panel.
Power & Battery - All critical power connections are made via LEMO style positive locking connectors. Simple on/off switch and integrated low battery warning assure reliable operation.

FingerTip Control

The 400 series utilizes an ergonomically designed finger board layout that puts critical and commonly used items at your finger tip. All 400 systems have onscreen menu controls and data display. The PRO+ models offer enhanced menu control of internally selectable functions (PAL, NTSC, C/F/K, Cal, etc.). Unique features include a close focus integrated ocular macro lens capable of resolving the finest details, calibrated temp ranges from 0-2500c, color viewfinder and color TFT LCD panel, and unique menu driven ISO/AUTO/MANUAL image manipulation settings. Simple enough for a child to use yet robust enough to satisfy the needs of almost any application.
